Building a startup on a remote island
We arrived on the archipelago of Cape Verde in January 2022 just as the world was opening up from the COVID pandemic. The archipelago tourism was just starting to recover in Boa Vista and we stayed at an AirBnb. The Island was quite small and we quickly realised information was passed mostly by word of mouth.
